JOB SUMMARY:

Optimal Electric Pro is looking for a skilled, dependable, and certified commercial electrician to join our growing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems, wiring, and equipment across commercial job sites.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for electricians who take ownership of their work, show up prepared, and can perform at a high level without supervision.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Install and maintain electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting in commercial environments

·      Inspect, repair, and replace electrical components including panels, transformers, wiring, and distribution systems

·      Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on commercial electrical systems

·      Inspect, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical system issues, safety hazards, and malfunctions

·      Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings

·      Follow NEC, state/local codes, and all safety procedures on every job

·      Accurately track time and job details per company standards

·      Manage job details, review daily tasks, and follow up with the team

·      Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

·      Active Tennessee electrician license

·      Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship program

·      4+ years of electrical contracting experience

·      Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation

·      Strong understanding of electrical systems and theory

·      Able to read and understand electrical drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and schematics

·      Able to perform basic mathematical calculations

·      Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments

·      Able to sit, stand, kneel, climb, lift, and climb stairs and ladders

·      Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

·      Strong work ethic and positive attitude

·      Able to work independently and as part of a team

·      Professional communication on job sites

·      Reliable, punctual, and consistent

·      OSHA 10 certification, OSHA 30 preferred
